Witten wins back to back state titles with Liberty Christian

It would be like the Joneses to hire one of their former players as HC who’s only coaching experience is at the high school level.

Come on now, two championships in TAPPS isn’t impressive to you???

The people thinking Witten is the logical choice to coach the Cowboys are also the ones that believe Bill Bates should be in Canton.

You remember this. Emmitt messing with Jimmy's hair as they celebrate a Super Bowl win.

Now picture Rico Dowdle running his fingers through Witten's toupee.

This could work.
You always have good/great ones, usually I LOL, this one will go down with some of the best of all time. :starspin::starspin::starspin:

Keep this in perspective. TAAPS is for private schools only. Texas powerhouse high school football is public. Public schools only play public schools for the state championship. TAAPS schools can recruit from all over the state. Public schools cannot recruit and can only play players who reside in their school district.

There are a lot of high school teams in Texas that would embarrass Liberty Christian on the football field.
Liberty Christian is winning because a lot of rich parents want their kids to play for Jason Witten.

I'm not sure how old his kid is but once he graduates there's really no reason for him to stay there.
Jason and his son Dayquon Witten, will surely be the next father and son combo at Jackson State

You heard it here first

Sounds like Texas does it right. In PA public schools end up playing bigger private schools and it’s pretty unfair. Charters and private schools can recruit which is a huge advantage. St. Joes Prep for example has 7 FBS commits, a typical public HS team may have one or two.

Only 10-12% of high school football players play in college at ANY level so having 7 guys going D1 is crazy.

Context.......good post

jerry will interview him, for sure, but I don't think he'll actually hire him as a HC.

People think a guy that went on basketball dates with his head coach is some hard-nosed, get it out the mud guy  him and Campbell are 6'5 and white. That's the only similarity

there are some who have been voted in that I would pick Bill over.

Witten has always been a winner. It's the certified chokers like Romo/Dak and loser coaches like Wade/Garrett that have held him back. He didn't throw the ball or play defense. LOL!
The stats are there to PROVE Romo wasn't some grand "choker" some say he was.

Some people obviously don't care about facts.

I think he would have to accept an assistant role to come here this offseason but I don't think he'd have any interest in that right now.
