Witten's 600th catch/touchdown

It looked like he was about to throw the ball into the stands at one point. I'm glad he didn't. He probably would've been penalized for using the ball as a prop.:lmao:

Coming to a Cowboys Trivia Question near you... who threw Witten's 600th completion...

First tight end in NFL history with 80 or more catches and 900 or more yards in five different seasons.

I thought this was 601, wasn't it? I'm pretty sure the stadium announced the catch before this as #600

I heard that as well while watching the game on TV

I wonder which one it was. It looks like he saves this ball, and I didn't notice him having an Emmitt habit on previous tds.

I made this exact point yesterday but someone assured me otherwise.

Oh, ok, sorry I missed that. So.....who was it and are they right? :)

Thanks! Very cool that he got a td on #600. Thanks again for posting the vid.

Gonzalez has the catches but not the yards.

Gonzalez leads all TEs in the history of the NFL with 12398 yards on 1061 catches. That is a 11.69 ypc.

Witten has 6876 yards on 605 catches. That is a 11.37 ypc.

Not to take anything away from Witten. I think he could catch him in receptions if he plays for as many years as Gonzalez has.

Witten is 60 catches ahead of what Gonzalez had at this point in his career and 119 catches ahead of what Gonzalez had at this age.
