Witten's Re-Signing Stymied Leadership

Allowing Witten's return was an atrocious decision.

Last year's offense that ran through Zeke and Cooper was much better. Now you've got young impressionable players genuflecting to his majesty instead of leaning on the true playmakers.

You"ve got young guys waiting on Witten to make a play. I liken this to asking your Dad to be a 4th in a 2 on 2 hoops contest.

Noone has the chops to tell him we need somebody else...

Garrett definitely doesn't, Moore probably reveres the man, as does Dak.

Just another symptom of how Jerry Jones values his relationships with his players and coaches over their actual performance.

I despise Witten and how this team treats this old spare. He allows no TE to develop behind him. The sooner he is gone the better.

The excuse I heard for him playing is that he's a better blocker than Jarwin, yet on the final drive of the 1st half when we were in the 1 minute drill and obviously not running the ball, there Witten was on every single play of that drive.
