Woman accused of striking boyfriend with stripper pole
Killeen police arrested a woman they said beat her boyfriend with a stripper pole.
Sarah Howell was charged with assault with bodily injury stemming from an alleged assault that left her home ransacked.
Police arrested Howell late Sunday night after receiving a call from the 900 block of Stetson Avenue about a violent domestic disturbance, an arrest affidavit states.
When police arrived they found a shirtless male who was "covered in sweat" and had grass in his hair and on his back, the affidavit states. Police saw the man had numerous scratches on his face, neck, chest, hands and back.
Inside the home, police found Howell curled up in the fetal position on her bed crying. Howell told police the man, her live-in boyfriend, had assaulted her.
However, the man had used his cellphone to take a video of the alleged assault. Police viewed the video, which depicted Howell screaming and trying to force her way through a door the man was holding closed.
Howell eventually forced the door open and can be seen slapping the man four times. She then grabbed a pot from the kitchen and splashed cooking oil on the man, the affidavit states.
