Wonder if the Lions have called Jerry Jones?

They don't have anything that we need. We need OL help, but theirs is as bad as ours.
They have draft picks.

Actually I thought this thread would be geared towards Jenkins, not Felix.

THAT is a possibility too... But he has to get back on the field. I am really looking forward to having Jenkins back out there.

I really don't know that I could see us trading Felix, Jenkins or Spencer - not that there is discussion for that.. this year (despite us probably losing all three next season).

I also thought it was comical how bad that list NFL.com put for potential running backs to fill their void.

Why the hell would they give up any meaningful draft picks for a backup RB?

Agreed, you couldnt get a 4th round pick for Felix.. Why on earth would teams give up valuable assest for a guy that isn't any good.

If we could get a 2nd for Felix, I'd be overjoyed. I think he's got good value for us, but considering he'll probably walk after this year anyway...

How bout we give them Felix and they take back Roy Williams contract.

FJ for a 3rd that turns into a second if he hits some basic performance metrics.

Sounds about right to me.

Jerry has already stated that Felix is not going ANYWHERE, so get it out of your heads people. I don't see why you would want to give away one of our top playmakers.

I'm would guess the Lions have inquired about Olawale and Dunbar along with Felix. Lions could be guessing they could pick up either after final cuts right now.

I don't think JJ is willing to trade Felix if the price isn't great.

Because Murray is entrenched as the #1 RB.

Because he's arguably the 3rd best RB on the roster.

Because he's leaving after this season and we won't get anything for him.

Because it's the type of smart asset management that the Cowboys don't engage in often enough.

Give away? I'm not sure you understand how a trade works. :laugh2:

Yeah - JJ is demanding a 1,3 and 6 round draft choice...

Then, we can call it even...
