But I think everyone knows he made the guys around him look better than they actually were. That should be a good substitute.
Look how good he made Roy Williams look.

Exactly.Look how good he made Roy Williams look.
We live in an age of splash and flash Bruv, rock solid and reliable are out of fashion. But I think everyone knows he made the guys around him look better than they actually were. That should be a good substitute.
Compare his stats to Lynch They’re almost identical. Except , woody has 3 rings instead of 1. Played more positions at top level than Lynch. If Lynch got in , Woody deserves to be inI don't agree with that. I wouldn't pound the table for him to get in. He's at best a marginal case, in my view.

Look at what he allowed Roy Williams to be. Once Woody was out, Williams was exposed and never was the sameBut I think everyone knows he made the guys around him look better than they actually were. That should be a good substitute.
Wut??
I'm not even sure Ware was the better player.
He was great but wasn’t that big play guy.Darren Woodson was a safety, linebacker and slot cornerback. All at a high level. I'm convinced if he was more demonstrative on the field rather than so stoic, his greatness would be more recognized. He tends to get lost in the crowd of great teammates with bigger personalities.
Show me the guys that can play at the line of scrimmage, man up on top WRs in the slot and patrol the deep middle of the field. They are a rare breed.
It's the star on the helmet. More than one HoF committee voter has admitted this. The star on the helmet works against you for HoF induction.
guess whatHe was great but wasn’t that big play guy.
Very true, for that matter I want my man Moose in there - the best blocking full back I've ever seen.We live in an age of splash and flash Bruv, rock solid and reliable are out of fashion.
All three. I have no problem with Butler and Lynch. It’s simply the fact that they are in and Woody is not. That doesn’t even go to the fact Woody should have been in before bothBoth should be in the hall of fame…in my opinion.
