Word of Muth: Eagles' Run Game Dominant Against Cowboys

Nice write-up. Dickerson is a guy I wanted coming out of the draft. I do know that with the game on the line, they took over and drove the field. IMO they have the best line in the NFL, despite someone on these boards telling me that our line was better.

Jerry, do you see our DT’s here? A little more help would be appreciated.

For years, the best LT’s in the league were on the Cowboys and Eagles. If Smith and Mailata keep developing, both teams again might have the two best LT’s in the game.

LOL at Hurts on that sack. He had 4 seconds to find his receiver (I recall that play and he had a man open) and failed. At least Dak would have thrown the ball somewhere.

Side note: I believe 95% of the offensive linemen they have drafted over the past ten years are still in the NFL. They suck picking WR and LB, but are great with the O-line.

What am I missing? Zeke got 6+ yards and Pollard over 4 a carry. Better than any of the Eagles. They even held Hurts to 3.0 a carry. The Cowboys matched their Rush game. Now if they want to talk turnovers in the game....

Interesting take considering the Eagles averaged 3.5 yards per carry, and the Cowboys averaged 5.2 yards per carry. It is easy to cherry pick some plays that worked and say what a great job everyone did. But the Eagles had only 268 yards of offense, hardly a dominant performance.

Put a real QB back there and that offense would explode. Hurts is barely average. I lol at all the people here slobbing on his knob. Hurts is not a good QB.

Quinn couldn't figure it out in the 5 games prior to our meeting. How much more tape does he need to notice the eagles use the rpo?
That last game’s tape.

We did a decent job. Just a few slip ups like Lewis blowing it on that one play.

exactly
Quinn had never seen RPO before and had no idea the Eagles were going to run it
Now he knows
:muttley::facepalm:
Right. You get it too. . Players and coaches get better at stopping plays the more they see them.
