I don't think I ever saw the movie either, just little snippets here and there.

I've seen the 1923 silent film version and was actually guessing that movie. But fortunately the 1939 sound film version shares the same title and I luckily stumbled into a two guess win yesterday.

I agree. Today's Framed is an easily recognizable classic film. I probably should've taken the time to zoom in on the first frame and gotten a closer look. My first guess was a Salma Hayek movie.
