I quit a little over a year ago after a good 3-4 years addicted to it. Finally kicked the habit so I'm not gonna dare going back cause it won't be good. Got tired of burning 8-10 hours at a time playing that.

With the random dungeon dealie, it's pretty easy to jump in and play for an hour and get some good loot and exp. This current time playing, I haven't felt the need to play more than that. That's not to say that I don't on occasion, but it's not necessary like it used to be.

Played it until Lord of the Rings Online came out.

I played Everquest way way back when. I played about 6 months or so and got a bard to 53rd level. It takes way to much time and you always had to play in groups when you got higher level. Being socially impaired like I am, that didn't work out so well for me! :laugh2:

Actually, that game takes way to much time to play and when you're playing it, you doing absolutely nothing productive in real life. Consuming that many hours a day or week on something unproductive is IMO just bad business.

Not to mention the social addiction that general comes with it.

I still play occasionally. I have many many toons on Staghelm. I have been on a bit of a break from it. As soon as the expansion comes out I'll really get back into it.

The dungeon finder has been the best thing to happen to the game since it came out. It really makes it easy to get groups. Especially if you tank.

The recently came out with a BG finder as well if you pvp.

I'm back to playing again on Bronzebeard after a year off. The dungeon finder as well as flying mounts from the start in BC & WOTLK make leveling much more fun.

I played all day every day for about 4 months when it first came out, then again after this christmas for about 4 months. Each time I had to just quit cold turkey as it was eating up way too much of my time.

I just started playing a little bit after being away for about a year and a half, they made the game lots more friendly to less hard-core people, which is good and bad I guess.

I've never been too pleased with the expansions and all that, they just keep doing the same thing over and over and trying to charge 40 bucks for it.

Maybe when the top level is 400 and you need 200 billion xp to get there, people will finally figure out there hasn't really been a new idea since the games inception.

Never cared for WoW or its background. Age of Conan is much better looking, and not so 'Generic D&D'. And its finally running smoothly. City of Heroes is good for the superhero set. Surprisingly, Lord of the Rings Online never clicked with me.
