World of warcraft you say? ...............

This wouldn't happen to be you would it? But with a Boys jersey on?

I don't play WoW, I'm not really into MMORPG's but I have played a little everquest(sucked), MapleStory (fun at first, got too tedious), and I'm currently playing Trickster Online (it's been pretty good so far). If you're ever on one of those my name is always adamknite so I'd be easy to find :D.

jterrel used to be a major addict to it. I don't know if he still plays it.

I played up until about 2 months ago.
I will probably resume playing after this semester is over in a couple of weeks.

I have several characters on Staghelm.

It's been temping but, i've purposely stayed away from it.

It ruins lives, or so i've been told.

We did the WoW beta but it didn't grab either of us. It seemed very cartoony compared to EQ, which I had played since 1999.

Haven't touched a game since pre-season last year, and now with the baby, I doubt I'll see one anytime soon.

I played every day for six months straight since the day it came out. I had to quit playing when I remembered I have a wife and 3 kids.

Great game though.

That's why I stayed away from it. I don't want it to get to the point where that's something I do every day.

Oddly I never played WOW.

I was a huge Diablo fan...still play on occasion when I am board but never got into WOW.

I've got several high level toons on Bronzebeard and my druid is in a raiding guild but I don't have the passion I've had for it in the past. Part of that has to do with Blizzard constantly screwing with the classes and the enormous rep grinds required.

I'm looking forward to seeing what LoTR online has to offer. Warhammer Online also looks promising.

Yep, I have 60 Ally priest and a 65 Horde priest but Blizzard has just about taken all the fun outta the class. Properly specced and geared Shamans and Druids are almost as good of healers now and a lot of people would rather have them in their parties. I have a 'Lock that is still fun to play though.

I'm looking forward to LOTRO also. Don't know much about Warhammer. I'll have to look into it.

When I started playing it I didn't see the big draw at first either. But then once I got a few friends and got into a guild, that's when the game got really fun.

I'm surprised Jterrell hasn't hit this thread. He used to play WoW.

Hey D -

Good post. I to am looking foward to LOTR. I have a 70 Shammy Ive played in Wow the past few months. Actually played wow since launch.

It just doesn't do it for me anymore.

My LOTRO software should be arriving tomorrow in the mail.

Can't wait to check it out.

We'll see. Ill post a review on it at some point.

Take care..

D

I was trying to download it on my computer but my computer broke and so I have never had the chance to play it yet until my computer is fixed.

It's not an MMORPG but Oblivion on the 360 has me hooked. I'm 25 hours in and I haven't really done any of the main quests. IMO, it's the best next gen game out. (for now)

Let me know how it is. My friend Reid got in the late beta through a pre-order or something but picked up Guitar Hero II at the same time so he quit playing LotR Online.
