Keuchel, Verlander and McCullers have to be ready to pitch 9 for us to have any chance. Maybe Norton or Peacock could relief in game 6 or 7.

GoStros! :flagwave:

Go Cowboys! :flagwave:

You would think that meatloaf applies here... “cause 2 outta 3 ain’t bad”

But...

Kuechel has been humanized.
McCullers is no lock.
Verlander is due for a stinker.

Still... this favors Astros.

Wow Dodgers showing some heart...impressive. Giles with a brutal meltdown, you just want to see how your closer recovers after blowing a save from game 2 and Giles did not look good at all!

Seriously, how are some of these “closers”.... CLOSERS.

Mariano was beat a few times but he spent most of his career in the post season so that was gonna happen. Sometimes he was beat with dunk hits or seeing eye ground balls. It happens.

Jensen in game 2.
Count 0-2
And you throw next pitch down the middle?

Giles, Jensen... unimpressive!

Agreed, I would be scared to trust EITHER closer the rest of the way. I saw a stat that said Jansen has already allowed as many HRs in this World Series alone than Mariano Rivera in his entire career! Rivera was just one of the greatest, we may never see another one like him

The Dodgers won it fair and square. They have a better bullpen which will most probably determine the WS champ.

Tight game.

First to score.

Sometimes you gotta lock it down.

Astros locked it down vs Yankees in games 6 and 7.

They needed that done in game 4... especially after game 2 early Christmas present.

Did u see this story today? I wonder if it has something to do with what we’re seeing. Ken lee has been untouchable up to the WS and now he’s grooving 0-2 pitches. Lots of discussion about this today. Makes u wonder.
