Worried about the Chiefs & Simplify Offense

Yesterday was a tough loss for all of us. Nobody feels worse than the players and coaching staff. Must have been a horrible plane ride home. Moving forward, I hope this team doesn't dwell on this loss and they have a horrible week practicing. They should forget about this game after team meetings asap. Concentrate on Chiefs. This next game could be a trap game with our bye week coming up. Roy & Barber might be out this week. If that happens, all the Chiefs would have to do is stack the LOS with 8 men and stop the running game and force ROMO to beat them. With Romo struggling, that would be an apparent easy task.
With Romo re-aligning the WR corp sometimes, getting players in the right position, maybe Garrett's offense is too complicated for this team. Scale back the offense, run the ball up the middle, behind Columbo, and behind Flo. A la Emmitt days. We don't have the players for Garrett's scheme. Stop all of the cutsie motion and alignments. Go back to hard nose straight ahead play calling. DO NOT TAKE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS LIGHTLY!

I do not think this team should take any team lightly. The Browns, Lions and or Rams could beat us, like they did last year.

I live in K.C. and am going to the game this weekend. I will never hear the end of it if they lose this game.

Couldn't ask for a better opponent coming off of a loss. Dallas will be out for blood, I actually feel sorta sorry for the Cheifs because Garret is gonna pull every stop imaginable for this one.

I feel sorry for the Chiefs too- Clancy Pendergast is one of their coaches.

The Cowboys are a mediocre ball club, so there shouldn't be any "trap" games on the schedule.

The Cowboys won't lose to the Chiefs, if they do, the season is likely over.

At this point, the Cowboys are an average team but they are better than the Chiefs.

Simplify the offense all you want, but when your QB can't make throws, you're in trouble regardless.

we won't lose to the chiefs.... no way. They are too bad a team. And it's not like the cowboys can look past them because they are going into the bye week. We will be ready to play, but thank god its against the chiefs. I say close early on, but we end up pulling away.

Welcome to my world, I live in Denver. :banghead:

They started to make a small comeback at the end against the giants I wouldn't take them lightly either

I am a native of Dallas, but lived and worked in Boston for 26 years, including when Bledsoe stunk up the place. Romo is like Bledsoe, a statistics loser--great stats, but born to lose. There are plenty of these in the NFL, especially at the QB postilion. Romo will follow the typical format with the Chiefs--he will have a good game against a crappy team--and all the Romo rump swaps will have their petticoats aflutter about how their beautiful boy toy is back in the saddle. Of course, shortly after the break, he will resume his role as the most over-rated player in the league, and demonstrate 62 million dollars worth of astounding mediocrity, all with the swooning support of his loyal Romo Rump Swab fans.

A Romo fan is NOT the same as a Cowboy fan.

Chiefs are putrid. Lose that game and it will snowball. You will be looking at a top 5 pick.

I think this team better be very worried about KC.

Todd Haley knows our personnell for the most part. He knows to attack watkins.

The biggest thing to me is the energy in that place with the afl stuff going on, the fans and the team would love to embarrass Dallas and finish us off.

Todd Haley must hate jerry jones. Jerry Jones undermined his authority as a coach when he was pampering owens in 06, Haley was doing his job in riding owens and owens couldnt handle it and jerry stood up to him publically.

If I were haley, I wouldnt want to win, I would want to win big and really get my shot in.

KC does suck, but there team will look like the 1999 Rams offense and the 1985 Bears defense when they play us.

We will beat the Chiefs and I think it will be similar to the Bucs game, minus the rushing yards we gave up.

The Cowboys are an average football team but they are much better than the Chiefs.

The Defense is playing better so We should be able to stop that mediocre disgrace of a team they call the Chiefs.

Dallas will beat the stupid Chiefs, they are terrible.

Dallas has the talant but there has been something missing here since Jimmy Johnson left 14 years ago and Jerry Jones OBVIOUSLY cannot bring it back.

Excellent points. Haley will be very motivated.

Todd Haley's Superbowl is sunday.

Be scared. :star:

Exactly, this game is no gimmie. This Dallas team has not shown anyone any reason to pencil in this game as an instant Victory. They have to play hard for all four quarters.
