looking at the number the Eagles did to the Giants yesterday, it became clear that 2 things absolutely cannot happen for us to have a chance-
---we need to pressure Donavan like he has not been pressured all season. and we have to get there quick so he has to throw the quick ones off short slants etc..better to take our chances on that than letting him have another field day with long strikes to DJackson or Macklin
--we need to contain Deshawn Jackson, he is a beast and playing lights out, reminds me of Steve Smith a few years ago when he was unstoppable on everything thrown his way...... but I don't see any corner in the NFL who can keep up with him when he gets clear so let's take our chances on roughing up his delivery system (DMac) first so the throws will be off and we may even get a pick or 2 in the process...
I don't think we need to focus on stopping the run as Andy R is a creature of habit and always chooses the long ball first, even if they run it we have a better run defense than the Giants and that will shut that down fast..
on our end, on offense, we need to try a more ball control type running game to keep them off the field...keep playing the pass by spreading it out, I think this is not a Jim Johnson defense anymore so we have a chance this time
Special teams----just keep up the good work and give us great field position all day
