Worse Debacle than 2015

At least in 2015 we knew the issue was we lost our starting QB and had no passrush.

This year is so disilluisioning because Dak very well may be fools gold, and we can’t improve on D even when we are getting pressure on the QB regularly.

I have no hope as a fan that this situation can be fixed anytime soon— and even less faith in the organizational leadership of this franchise.

I cannot remember a worse 3 game stretch in franchise history. Three Blowout losses and historically awful offensive ineptitude.

All this on the heels of 13-3.... I am
No longer asking for the playoffs even. I am just asking that the team shows up and competes at an NFL caliber level and they seem incapable of doing even that.

Worse still— the owner/GM is in denial about the reality of the situation. Following this team feels like getting kicked in the nuts every time I turn around...

I rarely post in the fan zone anymore because I don't watch the games. But I was at my sister's and caught the horror show that is our offense on tv. Our offense was not this bad when Quincy Carter was tossing the ball around and handing off to Troy Hambrick. The ineptitude that I witnessed yesterday was shocking.

Even Bill Parcells got a winning season and made it to the playoffs with Quincy.

Last year was lightning in a bottle for this team, but other teams have figured out how to put the lid on the bottle with help from the NFL FO and the refs.

Both involved very flawed off-season strategies.

2015 was "anyone can run behind this line"

2017 was "the secondary will improve simply because we got younger"

The Front Office is either handicapped financially or terribly, terribly misguided. Time for accountability and change.

One thing to be inept, as we currently are, another to watch the obvious missed holding, throw downs by other teams and no call by refs...

I just watched Dak's post game press conference. Talk about a guy that just seems like he's not buying into what's going on. He said all the things you expect, but I didn't take the he believed a lot of it. Just seems like a guy that has lost confidence in their direction.

Young players look to their coaches for answers, Garrett and company don't have any. Romo coached himself, Dak needs a real coach to allow him to grow and fight through tough times.

The conclusion of yesterday's game was a lower low than any point in 2015, IMO. Simply because of the difference in circumstances and the drastic nature of this season's demise.

I wonder if what we just went through is truly the worst 3 game stretch in franchise history. Off the top of my head I can't recall any 3 game stretch that even rivals this.

Yep... and it’s all gummi bears and belly rubs for everyone aboard the SS Lollipop according to JJ’s postgame speech

Instead of making these roundabout posts why dont you out the blame where it belongs, on Jerry, Stephen and Garrett?

Start thinking for yourself instead of being led by the nose

...If Black Friday is about value, this awful 2017 campaign, which I officially dub ”2015 II,” can launch what could be a monster season in 2018.

To be clear, the Dallas Cowboys can’t score so much as a touchdown. It hadn’t been since 1999 that the Cowboys were shut out in the first half of a Thanksgiving football game, but ’17 saw the same thing. They can’t stretch the field or sustain drives.

In fact, this team went 10 quarters without scoring a touchdown for the first time in franchise history. It wasn’t until 12:48 in the fourth quarter on Turkey Day that this string of offensive futility came to an end with a short touchdown run by Rod Smith against the San Diego – woops, Los Angeles Chargers...

Good coaches don't put together losing seasons, particularly 7 years into their tenures.

Garrett hasn't had back to back seasons above .500.

The guy was a young head coach afraid of any real talent around him, so he surrounded himself with family members who wouldn't challenge him.

He was finally demoted as a play caller and forced to hire competent coordinators, but the wheels have fallen off without a franchise qb to save his bacon.

Way worse!

I had the same thought last night

The team has absolutely crumbled

The first time in the Garrett era

We rag tagged by shot put Phillip Rivers! Phillip Rivers is not that good!!!

We made him look like 2007 Rivers

The wheels have come off

Now, he will doubt everything there is about quarterbacking his team. The leadership left behind by Tony Romo is now gone. Now the team belongs to Dak...but his supporting staff has changed in areas of aggressive dependability.

Advance to the rear and only throw to one's top receiving for five passes in the second half...and plan a slew of too short passes on 3rd downs.
