Seems like the theme of the day today...

There's always going to be those who are bitter and some of it is well deserved emotionally. Then there are those that try to keep it balanced. We don't have too many it's all rosy fans. It's a fine line between allowing people to express themselves esp after an emotional loss and keeping the board from being flooded and threads derailed.

Yup. They better bring it every game.

There is little room for error.

Might be a little. Might be none. It's really difficult to overcome the amount of injuries the defense has sustained he last two years esp this one.

Why are you relying on other teams to help the Cowboys out?????? This is bananas, it's real simple just win out and everything will take care of itself!

Chicago is next on the list to get beat!

I think folks are wanting some help because we have seen this movie before and its sequel...........neither ended well for the Boyz.

The fact that we have been eliminated in week 17 the last 2 seasons should be a clue as to why folks think the Boyz need some help. Its not "real simple" because the bottom line is this team cant get it done when the chips are on the line. If they could, we would not have been eliminated two consecutive years in a row.

At 2pm today Green Bay was losing by 11 points. The Eagles were losing by 8 point and couldn't move the ball. The perfect scenario was Eagles losing and Green Bay losing. That way the Packers may just pack it in and shelve Rogers next week thinking they can't catch the Lions.

So much for that. The Cowboys better bring it to Chicago.

Lets see, the Cowboys can only win 8 games a year, they have losing streaks in December, the Cowboys always lose the last game of the season, the Cowboys lose key defensive players in December. I can see that the Boys can beat the last two season record and win the Division! NOT!

The only hope the Cowboys have if Phily stumbles through December, if not then the Boys will be watching the playoffs from home. Thank you Jerry for poor drafts!

Did you see the Phily game Sunday, they look like a playoff team and in the snow!

It's because most fans (not just Cowboys fans) fall into the reactionary crowd. The Saints blow us out, they're the team to beat. The Seahawks blow out the Saints, they're the team to beat. The 49ers beat the Seahawks and it looks like the Saints are going to beat the Panthers, now the Saints are the "it" team again. Eagles win, Eagles win the division, season's over, negative posters churn the post counts. Cowboys beat the Bears tomorrow night, Cowboys will win the division! Cowboys lose tomorrow night, season's over. Some fans live on extremes.

I actually (not just saying this, I'm being completely sincere) feel sorry for the Cowboys fans who are so miserable they cannot enjoy any part of a season that does not involve winning a Super Bowl. It's really easy to point out negatives about the team, but it is really sad how many people are so miserable that the thought of anyone else enjoying a Cowboys game infuriates them to such a degree that they post the same player/coach/owner hate over and over again.

This team is not a Super Bowl caliber team, but so what? It's too late to fix anything for this season. You really only have two options if you want to enjoy the rest of the NFL season .. either stop watching or continuing supporting the team knowing the expectations are low this year.

What has really changed from yesterday to tonight? Nothing.....I expected Philly to beat Detroit in Philadelphia. I expected to go into tomorrow nights game behind them and get a win to re-take the lead.

Week 17 will decide who goes on and nothing between now and the end of the Skins game will effect the outcome. Sure, there is a chance that Dallas loses to Chi and either GB or Wash before then while the Eagles run the table but those are slim chances.

If Dallas loses two of the next three, then I don't care if they make the playoffs or not........they will not be a team worthy of extra games anyways. Just take care of business in December, the rest will sort itself out.

I think tonight's game will be tough on us for the same reason Detroit should have been expected to have a hard time in Philadelphia. We're a warm-weather pass-oriented offense playing at a cold-weather stadium in bad conditions.

Eagles game was a weird one. Up until the middle of the 3rd qtr, they had pretty much just one positive drive. They had zero positive offensive plays with about 10min to go in the 2nd qtr. They got that b.s. roughing the passer penalty and then all of a sudden they could not be stopped. Actually it started with a 3rd and 10 down 14-0 and they completed a pass to Desean. They were on fire after that. Rushing for 240yds in the 4th alone. Never seen a game turn that fast. But it's the Lions. They are losers.

I don't see another game on the schedule before they get to us that they lose. Vikings next week could be without Peterson and Gerhart. That's an easy win.

There's no excuses. But there are always variables to account for. Most people don't see the realities of the world as being absolute, all or nothing, black or white, etc.

My first sig was a quote from Vince Lombardi. It basically said all football was blocking and tackling. That's right in one sense but way too simple in another.

Listen, it's time for this team to man up and win games, bottom line.
