Amari is still vastly better than all WRs on our roster not named Ceedee Lamb. I’d much rather paid him 20m than Gallup what we paid him and we wouldn’t have needed Cooks. Would’ve almost evened out cap-wise and we’d be better at the position IMO. But Jerry got his feelings hurt and made a rash decision kinda like he did with Jimmy and tried for years to defend it but we all knew it was dumb at the time and hasn’t aged any better.

The QB did have a better rapport with Cooper than he's shown with Cooks.

Sure Cooper disappeared at times but Cooks is on pace for about 50 receptions and 700 yards this season. Cooper's greatest disappearing act was more productive than that.

No, Amari was not worth what we'd have had to pay him. Letting him walk was the right move.

You start paying the Amari's of the league and suddenly you're losing for other reasons, holes in your D for example. Philly's going thru that right now.
