Worst Possible Pick at 12

Let’s say we can’t trade up or down and all the stud defenders are gone. And let’s say the team is passing on Bain and McCoy. Who would your worst case scenario pick be?

For me it’s Mesidor and it’s not close. Not impressed with a 25 year old beating up 18 year olds in the ACC. He will be close to 31 when his rookie deal expires. You draft someone this high you expect them to be a cornerstone. Oh, and he has a significant injury history.

What say you? Who would you most hate at 12 and why?

If you saw his 2024 tape you wouldn’t want him. Got abused. But after this season the narrative is that he’s a shut down corner. Not convinced

I mean there is nothing wrong w that. Much better than elite tape in 24 and trash in 25, which plenty of prospects in this class have

I actually think Mesidor will be a good player. I’m not crazy about his age but that aside, I do like his play.

For me, if Downs, Bailey, Reese and Delane are gone, My highest rated player will probably be Makai Lemon… and I know people would freak out about that pick.

I guess my freak out pick would be Faulk, although I wouldn’t really freak out because he’s a good player and might become great.

My big freak out would probably be if Downs is there at 12 and Dallas passes on him.

Yeah, Delane is a really good corner with great eyes and football IQ.

He’s so good in zone that I think Parker would love to have him.

In his defense Voch just did a post referenced he did whoop some seniors that are more in the 22ish range but I hear you.

Still a concern and then you add in no testing plus the foot injuries makes me out at 12.

If he was a freak athlete with minimal injury history I would be more interested.
