on Thanksgiving. Can anybody think of one worse? I've been a fan since aboout 1977, and I'd put the Lett game #1 and this one tonight #2.

The positives are we controlled this game for 55 minutes, I think this team will be fine as long as they can bounce back mentally.

Geez, how can you forget the loss to the Texans in their first game in history? That was my sickest moment as a Cowboys fan. I didn't watch them for 3 weeks after that.

Reminds me of the Carolina game a couple of years ago were we got dominated all game and got 2 late TDs, the winner to Antonio Bryant late.

The San Francisco loss in 2002 sucked. Had them beat, but let them hang around and score late. Got all the momemtum back with Dantzler amazing return, but blew it at the end.

That loss did suck...but it didn't hurt as bad as this one.

This is a division rival we lost to here. We needed this game. We have a tough schedule ahead guys. The 49ers are going to pissed about the drubbing they took and playing with their hearts on their sleeves. We need to go out next week and dominate.

If we lose next week I don't know where this team will end up.

How can you say that loss didn't hurt.

First game in an opposing team's history, and we lost. Pathetic! I will never forgive Campo for that one.

Nope, those two pretty much sum it up. Maybe Carolina when Michael went down, but it is close.

Absolutely agree. I haven't had this disgusting a feeling since that Miami game! This was your worse nightmare in the last 5 minutes of the game!

This loss wasn't much different from the loss to Pittsburgh last year.

In both games --

-- we were playing at home
-- we had a 10-point lead going into the fourth quarter
-- we had a chance to run out the clock on offense
-- a stupid mistake by our offense on a third-down pass gave the opponent another possession
-- our defense allowed two fourth-quarter touchdowns
-- our offense's last possession ended in the opponent's territory, but time ran out

So at the most, it's our worst loss since only last October.

You could even make a case that it's just our worst loss since our last loss. In the last game of last season, we led by nine points going into the fourth quarter, but the defense allowed three touchdowns in the fourth. We even scored a go-ahead touchdown with 1:49 left, but we let the Giants march 66 yards in only six plays for the winning touchdown.

I also thought of the carolina game from a couple years back when
antonio caught the final TD pass.
I even thought of it during this game even before the first moss TD.
I just hope parcells doesnt let the team break down mentally.
Because when can go in and beat San Francisco,
and next week this time we can be 2-1. with this loss fogotten.

You forgot one important thing...it's the Skins! Worse loss since the Lett game in my book!

Trust me we win next week in san fran and it will be forgotten. new era
I remember after the first preseason game there were threads about how demarcus Ware sucked and the defense was still the same. Then Ware gets
the sack the FF and the INT against seattle, and we all forget about
Arizona. So if we play well against san fran like I think we will
and the defense comes up big this loss WILL be forgotten.
