Reruns of CSI Miami are on.

Never seen it.

I think the only regular show I've watched since "Third Watch" ended is "Lost," and I am souring on it.

I just now got back from a 16 mile mountain bike ride...does that count as a sport?

(i'm hungry and thristy)...

;)

I have been thinking about doing something like this. You have any good links where I can find out some info ? Thanks.

I think this is exactly what we are going to do.

Harry Potter is out already ? Damn. Gotta take the nephews to go see this, they love going to the movies.

This is the time that you have to plan ahead for. Thats why I record all Cowboy games. Then I start watching the good games around the end of June and that carries me to training camp.

 I don't really know what you need, Terps...

I ride a 16 mile bike path 4 times a week on a mountain bike...nothing fancy, just some up and down hills, and it takes 1 and 1/2 hours. So, buy you a bike, find a 8 mile one way trail or go find a route you like that is away from all the cars you can stay awar from...go to the end turn around, and come back.

Get water, rest, get up, eat, crack a beer in the evening, rinse and repeat!

;) By the way...I really have to push myself to go...but once I'm into the ride, it feels good....

Yeah who cares about Cycling really? Since Lance retired I haven't even cared much about what's going on in the Alps...

I'll watch Cycling before I will watch Golf. And I will need to be dead before I watch Cycling.
I have a place in Florida on a golf course [haven't been there in 4 years], but I never played. Just opened the patio door and yell FORE every once in a while.:lmao2:

Today, the day after the baseball All Star game, is always the absolute worst sports day of the year.

No football.

No baseball.

No basketball.

No hockey.

No golf.

No tennis.

No car races.

w/ the exception of football, thank goodness, no any of those horrible, extremely boring, sports

I still didn't care about cycling when Lance was in it, it was basically a given that he would win

That's great man. I thought you did it as part of an organized competition so I was curious.

I will ride a 8 miles or so (round trip) and come home, but beyond that typically need some motivation to even bother.

The motavation part is what I have a hard time with in the morning too! However, the cardio workout is what gets me motavated. Sitting around doing nothing for exercise is not good at all. In the winter I walk on a treadmill 1 and 1/2 hours a day to stay in shape. Now, that is boring as hell and I REALLY, and mean really, have to motivate myself for that! Yuck...just standing in my room walking, doing nothing, not seeing anything, nothing?

Yuck!

But, man, you got to get up and get the heart rate going...somehow.

;)

Basically all you have is the Tour De France and I'll be honest, without Lance involved it isn't nearly as interesting to me.

Just give me something to get me through this day. 2 more weeks.

I seem to recall this same post last year on this date. May I suggest lawn chair ballooning?

I'm a big Gary Sinise fan, so I'm in the minority of CSI fans who actually enjoy him over Caruso. It wasn't until CSI:NY came out that I decided to watch any of the CSI series full-time.

At least you dont have the in-laws in town on top of it, like I do.
Wow, you really do have it worse than the rest of us... :(

But to me, the day after the Superbowl is the worst day in sports. I would say the day after our season is over, but at least then there is lots of discussion on our season plus other playoff games to watch.

When the NFL season is officially over, there's just... Nothing.

If you ever get bored, you could always go to rr-bb.com

Its hilarious to read what the nutjobs post over there.

It's got to be one of the worst days on the zone too as I think there have been all of about 3 new threads. Most activity is regurgitating old threads...
