Listening to the cheese heads at work gripe next Monday when they lose to the upstart Cowboys.

I hate how they keep saying GB is a much different team than the one they faced earlier, they're right because the Packers defense has gotten worse. The Cowboys are going to be able to run at will on the Pack, and analysts better not underestimate a healthy D-line with David Irving finally arriving.

The one thing I don't want to hear is well we have injured players not playing (Nelson, Montgomery). That is if they can't play next week. We had our fill of injuries especially last year.
Montgomery came back in. He's fine.

We need to score a lot next week. I think it will take 30 points at least. Rodgers is just picking teams apart right now.

If I recall correctly David Irving tore up that o-line in the last meeting, and did it with limited snaps.

Giants score points easily today if not for drops. Giants ran the ball okay as well. If we play our game and Dak is accurate, we will win.

Also, Giants #1 cb was hurt and only played on special teams (didn't hear him covering anyone). We are fully healthy in the secondary, 1st time all season. DL is the healthiest, though Grergory is gone. We will put pressue on Rodgers, I expect him to do his usual quick throws. Maybe we play a lot of dime with Claiborne. Can"t wait to see him.

Rodgers. You have to get to get to him, plain and simple. With as much time as he gets, it's not that hard for his wr's to get separation. I've watched the last 6 Packer games close. Alot of Rodger's throws are to open wr's that he had time to checkdown to. The wr's are catching most everything thrown at them. Doesn't matter if Jordy is gone, doesn't matter if Cobb is gone. If he gets the time, he'll carve up anyone, anywhere. He prefers playing in a dome or inside stadium....he's even more lethal in that environment. Dallas has to figure out a way to not over pursue and get to him. If they don't, a shootout favors GB.

You definitely don't blitz Aaron Rodgers. He will kill you if you blitz.
You need to keep him in the pocket and let him have his 75% completion rate on 3 yard passes.
Nothing down field.

They should be more worried about how they will stop the Freak than we are about Rodgers.

Oh ya, just checked box score, and we didn't have Dez in that game. Pack had Lacy at rb, he's gone too. So don't have to worry about a bull at rb.

The worst thing will be the media and the blah blah blah about the Dez catch rematch all week.

That's why I said if he's gonna make quick throws, we'll prob go with a lot of dime.

I really think some on this board are underestimating our defense. They've been solid most of the year, and really came on strong to end the season. GB will have some big plays, no doubt, but GB will also be banged up (Nelson, Montgomery) while we should be getting some back a couple of guys who can really help on defense (Claiborne, Lawrence)

I don't think there will be that many Packers fans there at all. Dallas fans snapped those tickets up fast a few weeks ago.
just on NFL ticket exchange alone there already 3200 tickets for sale. Just because they purchased them doesnt mean they are not going ***** them out.

Not being able to keep Rodgers in the pocket.. Same as two years ago and Giants learned the hard way today.
As crazy as this might sound, we need to make sure Rodgers stays in the pocket. They have zero run game so I would assign a linebacker as a spy on Rodgers the entire game. I mean, yes, he's elite from anywhere, but is lethal when he is outside the pocket.

Nah not this time, maybe 10 to 15 percent. The Cowboys fan base has turned out great this season.

I agree. I think it will be 80-90 % Cowboys fans. We have to start well though. IF not, then GB can silence our crowd. We've had the loudest crowds since the Stadium opened this year.
