You are allowed to be optimistic...well, the usual suspects will find the negatives....

If the Commanders can go from 4-12 to 9-7 and win the division, mostly by default. Then Dallas a 12-4 team from 2014 and favorite to win it again in 2015, and possibly go deep into the playoffs. But injuries derailed that.
Then they, being healthy and more talent, can go from 4-12 back to 12-4, or a good 10-6 and win the division again.

It's fairly simple.

If Romo remains healthy, Dallas wins the division with relative ease.

If not, it's going to be a 6-10 or 7-9 season, and only because the schedule is easier than last year.

nobody wins anything with ease nor will they this season. We have to play better teams this year than last year and it is much more difficult than 14. Everybody we play has a good qb and a talented offense. Last year sans the jets and bills it was the case also.

Look again.

Last year: Eli, Bradford, Ryan, Brees, Brady, Eli, Wilson.....right out of the shoot.

And Cam Newton and Aaron Rodgers later.

yea thats my point in 14 we won games that swung the season from 8-8 to 12-4 in part because the team was very good but because we also played some bad qb's who gave the ball away late in games instead of going down the field and scoring to win like wilson, bree's ryan did.

this year will be like last season playing against qb's and offenses that can win late and score a ton of points. There is nothing easy about it.

Outside of Dalton, Rodgers, and Roethlisberger, I don't see anything that intimidating. Flacco is overrated, and Stafford lost his best weapon.

Giants will be better this year. Bank on it. Im not sold on the Commanders yet. Philly will be bad. 10-6 should be an absolute breeze if Romo stays healthy. If Romo is healthy and we cant win the NFC east and at least go 10-6 then Garrett should be burned at the stake.

And if their QB goes down, are they still a lock?
There is nothing wrong with getting hyped up at this time of the year. We are fans, that is what we are supposed to do. I am certainly not going to sit around and be doom and gloom all summer, like some. And just whine about everything, or say we suck for 6 months before opening kick off.

Or sit here and take the high road and play the let's wait and see game week by week...how freaking boring is that. If we all did that, then this forum should just take a hiatus for the off season and twirl our thumbs waiting for week one only to say...well, it was only the first game, let's see what happens next week....no thanks...

Those teams will be awful if Brady, Roethlisberger, Rodgers, Palmer, Wilson, or Newton get hurt.

Last year's letdown was about a QB's collar bone.

There is no such thing as an easy schedule in the NFL.
You simply can't look at the schedule and say who'd good and who's bad. It's a year by year league.

the schedule is only a two game play between teams of each level.
6 - VS NFC East
4 - VS AFC division.
4 - VS NFC division.

2 games remaining based on division position.

The NFL has been promoting parody in the league since 1994 when they put in place a salary cap. Unrestricted free agency first came in 1992 which contributed as well. The NFL has changed so much from what it was, nowadays a team can go from being one of the worst teams in the league to being one of the best in a year or two. It's what the NFL has shaped itself to being.

So yes, considering our injuries last year and the talent we have, we can win the division this year. Every year really is alot different than the next. Didn't used to be that way.

Yep the NFL got tired of the 4 or 5 teams that you knew were probably going to be in the superbowl in the early 90s, and as usual, they overreacted.

Dallas should be the overwhelming favorite to win the division, so yes. Last season wasn't your typical 4-12 season... very hard to get that through to some people for some reason.

We're the best team by a fair bit still with everybody in the lineup. The Reskins are closing the gap, though, if Cousins doesn't slump.

The Giants are going to be interesting. It'll depend a lot on how their HC does. The Eagles look like a bad team to me, but I suppose if they have a QB they could be better, too.

The key will be can the OC adapt the offense to the back-up QB, like he finally did with Moore (his pet cat) and will Garrett insist Rod be more aggressive in his play calling. If those two things happen we'll at least be in the mix for the division.
