The Cowboys have had a history of great wideouts.

But for every Michael Irvin, there have probably been some bad wideouts who couldn't catch a cold.

Who would you put on the opposite end of Cowboys wideouts?

Corey Fleming, thank goodness Kevin Williams and Michael Irvin never were injured in 1995 because Fleming was a disaster, made one good play in his three year career after being a second round pick by the 49ers.

Anthony Miller was also a huge disappointment in 1997, he did not help out Irvin much at all.

Alexander Wright was a blazing fast bust in the early 90s.

Jimmy Smith and his stupid appendix never played a down of Cowboy football, had he stayed healthy he would've been an awesome tandem with Irvin.

Macey Brooks, had a swell 1997 pre-season, was not on the roster by 1998.

Ed Hervey, Olympic qualifying track squad that sucked so hard he couldn't make the roster even and made Dallas settle with Corey Fleming.

Jeff Ogden and Chris Brazzell and Jason Tucker were actually starters after Irvin went down in 1999, yuck!

Billy Davis had to of been the worst player to ever start opposite of Michael Irvin yet Dallas still won 10 games in 1998.

Patrick Jeffers was the flash in the pan for Dallas as a reserve in 1998, had one good year with Carolina the next season and promptly became a Trivial Pursuit question as he faded into obscurity.

Patrick Crayton.....
This thread is for the worst WR in Cowboys history. Crayton isn't the answer here. We have had many that were far worse than him.

The year after Patrick Jeffers left Dallas, he had over 1000 yards and 12 TD's for Carolina until he blew out his knee and (I think) had micro-fracture surgery which ended his career. He was playing pretty well for Carolina and was far from our worst our worst WR.
