I wasn't really feeling the commercials. Advertisers try way too hard it seems like. The Allstate mayhem guy is good though.

Ozzy/Bieber in the Best Buy commercial.

yeah, this was the best commercial.

The Superbowl commercials and halftime show were a big disappointment this year.

Hate to say it, but it was pretty enjoyable for me. Visually it was great...sound, not so much.

house commercial that was paying hommage to mean joe green coca cola ad was the best one. pretty weak bunch this year. Creepy Doritos finger licking coworker was high up there.

I don't watch commercials regardless of the Super Bowl, but that was the only one I saw that made me laugh :laugh2:

It wouldn't surprise me if, with the economy the way it is, companies didn't want to spend millions on both the spots you have to buy in the Super Bowl and production of the commercials. I personally can't imagine it's ever worth it to have a Super Bowl commercial like that, but definitely nowadays.

House and Darth Vader kid. Oh, the racing bug for the new Volkswagon beetle was pretty good as well.

Doritos were meh. The one last year where the kid slaps the guy and tells him to keep his hands off his Momma and his Doritos was better.

Why was Newman from Seinfeld a Cowboys fan? Why not J.R. Ewing from "Dallas"?

That's just more proof Roger Goodell hates the Cowboys.

there is no housewife where I watch football games, so the commercials usually aren't a big deal.

That's just more proof Roger Goodell hates the Cowboys.

Dallas wasn't a sitcom. Therefore it had no place in the commercial given that sitcoms were the theme of it. Newman made all the sense in the world in the context of the commercial. If Seinfeld is going to represent the Giants, his biggest rival (Newman) would in the context of the commercial be an Eagles or Cowboys fan.

Last year's commercials were far less interesting than this year's. IMO.

Though it's always interesting to see the tremendously expensive campaigns with bad or lackluster ads. You just go, 'What were they thinking?'

I missed some due to fast forwarding some with the dvr but of the ones I saw, those two were the best by far.

The GoDaddy one was completely lame they way they were trying to make you go to their website.

Like I said before, Best Buy with Ozzy and Bieber just fantastic IMO.
