Would an aging Greg Ellis net us anything in the receiver market?

If not would Cowboys fans be willing to package Ellis along with F. Jones or T. Choice for a receiver like Boldin?

Ellis and someone, maybe, but the other someone wouldn't be Jones or Choice.

That's what I was wondering, with the recent draft picks Ellis seems expendable, but who else could we package with him to nab a receiver?

That I don't know. I don't know what you'd have to package with him to make it worth it but I know, for certain, none of my offers would contain Jones or Choice.

I'm think the Bills might trade TO for him.

I don't know about for Boldin, but the Cards might be interested in Ellis because they lost Smith to FA and waived LaBoy, so maybe the Cowboys can recoup that 5th round pick in next years draft, other spots may be NE because they need a Pass Rushing OLB or how about the Saints, they could use some help at DE or Tenn as Kearse is hurt again.

Ellis is not expendable until the rookies prove something on the field in preseason. Until then, any ideas about their potential contribution is pure speculation.

Ellis has more value staying with Dallas than what we could get in return via trade. I like Boldin but would not be willing to trade our backs for him.

I brought this up before, that being before I knew how many drops he's had over the last 2 seasons, but is Braylon Edwards worth anything?

Only way we trade Ellis for a WR is if that guy can run a 30 yard slant. That's straight from Jerry's lips people.
