Would a good draft make you forget about the lack of free agent signings?

We draft good, we can always fill empty spots with free agents, what are your thoughts

It will not matter. The new draft picks will come into the circus and learn the ways. D Law and Diggs will teach them how to get as rich as possible doing as little as possible. Dak and Martin will teach them how to become the highest paid at their position without ever accomplishing anything. Parsons and Lamb will be squawking for their bag. No accountability will be found. No dedication to winning will be found. A bunch of geriatric drunk white dudes will be acting like they are the kings of it all. It really would be quite a pathetic thing to see.

We only have 3 picks in the Top 100 so we better hit on all 3 and hope they can start day one. The other 4 picks are 174, 216, 233, and 244 so you are basically looking at depth/special teams with those picks unless you get lucky with one of those. We may be able to trade down about about 5 or 6 spots with our 1st round pick and pick up another low 3rd round pick.

It was a bad year to be quiet in free agency and expect to fill holes in the draft unless we start trading draft capital from 2025 to move around in the draft or use those picks to trade for players. Right now we are looking at having all of our 2025 draft picks to work with plus a potential for 4 Comp Picks in 2025.

How do you know a draft is good though?
skip last years draft and go back a few years year we got Micah and those guys diggs etc sam Williams, no team can have 100 percent great draft, but good enough to where you put your team in cap hell and debate whether to keep other players!!

We're going to need to trade, if not, we're going to have another 2009 draft or close to it. But hey, if things really go sour, the new coach will have a better draft pick to make up for it

I get that, but at the same time half the fan base hated the Micah pick because he wouldn't be able to rush the passer lol....You just never truly know what you have from that years draft until you're half way through the season.

The draft is a roll of the dice and we would be depending on a number of young players to make an impact as rookies. Last year we got nothing from our rookie class. It’s going to be very difficult replacing most of the players we lost with unproven young players. We better hope we hit a home run in the draft. If it’s anything like last years draft we’ll be up to our necks in deep crap.

see as we did nothing so far to fill some of the players we loss, this may be our only help right now. Hopefully we do some trades and try to get some guys in the top 100 at least they should be somewhat ready to give you some help asap. Around this league things happen, there have been players start from wherever they were picked at in the draft. Doesn't mean you want that to happen
