I was listening to The Fan yesterday and they were debating if it would. Stephen A and the Lesean McCoy’s of the world have made careers on hating the Cowboys. What would happen to their “acts” if we finally won the whole thing?

One of the host said they would just move the goalpost, and said do it again. Or that was a fluke.

What do you think? I mean to be fair it’s been almost 30 years. Lots of time to build careers.
No. The team ended up with the second seed, which will translate into two home victories if the team continues its win streak. Talking sports heads will simply state:
  • the team was undefeated during the regular season
  • was gifted with two home playoff games
  • (if San Francisco advances) the 49ers had a bad day
  • (whomever is the AFC representative) <insert team> failed to live up to its potential
Controversial topics (even made up ones) fuels the bulk of sports talk shows. Sports news does not.

It will be more interesting of what is posted on here than what the media has to say.

Yes… The Cowboys winning a SB would change the narrative for Dak’s legacy, and for the “25 + years of futility” thing, and for the “Cowboys gonna Cowboy” choke narrative.
nah it will be Dak was carried.

It’s a talking point on a Tuesday. We’re fans. We don’t have to worry about X’s and O’s…
This game is about the fans ,and dreams of a 6th Dallas Super Bowl Championship. Not stephen a smith flapping his big jaws.

Not after the year he has had. He has put up MVP numbers.

If he stacks a SB win on top— likely requiring a victory over SF and/or Baltimore— the narrative will change.

No

The narrative would be win 2 in a row, or it took Dak too long, or a weak NFC and everything aligned they can't do it against stacked teams

Narratives don't stop
