Guess I'm the only one who wants to keep Miles. You never know when someone is going to get hurt, and a healthy Miles is an asset to the team.

I think we need him as a backup to finish off the season. After that though, he, IMO, needs to be gone and someone else found to back up Dez, Williams and Beasley (and Harris?).

Any of you think they would want Miles if so what could we get??? Now with Julio out they need a Vet.

When a player be injured it is no time to try to trade him. Besides, I think the NFL has gotten wind of how fragile Miles Austin is by now.
Best thing to do is to waive him, once and for all, once Austin has receovered.

One thing the Cowboys should begin a conversation on is how to better evaluate players who half a history of injuries, whether in college or the pros. I don't rrightly know how to achief it but there must be a way to steer clear of the chronically injured.

Well I can see them doing Miles like they did Free, asking him to take a paycut or be released. I have no problem with Miles being on this team, but TWill does look like a better option at this point especially with his youth, salary, and upside potential.

Glad we got TWill, surprising how good he looks for a rookie WR when most rookies tend to struggle at that position.

They need someone healthy not a receiver with chronic hamstring problems. Austin has missed back to back games they wouldn't trade for an injured player.

It wouldn't hurt to give ATL a call and see what they offer for Miles. As a GM, if I could work out the cap hit, I'd move Miles Austin right now for a 4th, 5th or 6th draft pick or some combination of those picks (like a 5th and a 6th). The cap hit is the hardest part right now in trying to move Austin.

ATL is desperate. Don't forget, they need to sell tickets and fill the stands and show their fans they are trying and haven't thrown the towel in yet. And Miles is a pretty good WR when he isn't injured.

JAX might try to move Blackmon for a 2nd. I doubt Clev will deal Gordon right now. Their fans would be rightfully upset now that the team is in the mix. Not much else out there for a vet WR right now.

Is Miles the new Dexter Coakley? lol

By the time he left here, fans were offering him up for ham sandwiches. lol

Ham sandwiches? I feel like even at the end of his time here there were still fans that thought he would surely be worth a first round pick. :p

It would be ironic to trade to fill a spot of an injured guy with a guy who is always hurt.

I'm sure they can go get somebody else.

Would that clear space for someone like Seymour or a trade for some quality lineman who can add pressure something our Dline can't
