Tom, honestly, I wouldn't take any solace in seeing what happened to us happen to you just because you all embarrassed us last year. You were the better team and deserved to win the game (no matter what Wade Phillips says). I thought our Cowboys were going to learn something from that defeat. It's a shame they didn't.
Yeah, I think your team talks some trash when it's Dallas week but, then, so does ours. I get the feeling that there's a mutual respect and genuine angst between the franchises because they see each other as legit rivals trying to take what the other wants.
The Eagles, on the other hand, are a different matter. I find the vast majority of their fans to be, well, I'll refrain from finishing that sentence so as not to get banned. Plus, I find their team annoying -- especially McNabb and his awkward dancing at the end of recent victories. Not to mention I like their trophy case being empty.
I'd be lying if I said I wanted to see you all win the Super Bowl. But I must admit, as much as I "hate" the Giants come Dallas-Giants week, I respect the way you all do business. You have a quarterback whose who-cares-about-my-stats attitude reminds me of Aikman and a team that, as a whole, refuses to make excuses no matter what player retires, gets hurt or shoots himself.
So, in short, good luck. And send those Eagles packing.
