Would it Have Made A Difference?

From my perspective, the key play of the game was Wade's decision in the first quarter to fail to try and pick up a fourth and one foot and instead try a 47 yd. field goal. Up to that point, we were not stopped on offense except by our own hand, fumbles.

We then miss the field goal and they get the long pass to Rice. Game changer!!!

But would it have made a difference in the long run?

Our offensive line played poorly and our offensive game plan after that missed field goal was not good.

All in all a good season to build on.

Don't know if it would have made a difference, but I agree 100% that we should have gone for it. Especially considering our FG kicking game, even since the switch, has been less than stellar.

Nope.

Marc Columbo was struggling the entire game.

Tony Romo was getting hit just about every play even before Flozell Adams got hurt.

Every time I start to warm to Wade, he takes the fun out of the game by not trying to win!!!!! Fourth and a foot, you have to go for it!!!!

I thought at the time that he should have gone for it but you can't blame Wade for wanting to put points up on the board. Hindsight is always 20/20.
