Would love to see Wade ask Steve Dennis if Romo is a winner now?

Of course the answer back will be, Romo "hasn't won anything yet", but still!

Wade can't lose by doing that. The players would love him for it, and the guaranteed crappy response from media would motivate the players to keep playing as hard and and execute as well as they did last night!

Wade needs to go on the offensive a bit. I know this is out of character, but he needs to quit spouting win/loss statistics and challenge the media members. The stats that Romo has been putting up over 4 seasons (look at all the threads today, with those amazing figures) have been TOTALLY glossed over and overlooked. That game last night by Romo was pretty darn clutch (and there were like 4 key drops!). His play in December has been superb this year. So Wade should come out swinging for his troops instead of doing the passive defense (which really ends up doing more harm than good anyway). It will both motivate the players to play for him and motivate them to live up to it.

Romo outplayed MVP candidate Brees and this needs to be pointed out. Wade isn't going to change, but I wish he'd be less "politically correct" and put his players on a pedestal in front of the media GOOD and BAD. The "protect them from the scrutiny of the big bad media" just makes the players and team seem weak in my opinion, and actually seems to seep into their psyche at times. Treat them like men and professionals by EXPECTING greatness. Point out there strengths and weaknesses as if you know they WILL get better AND are winners.

Fair enough, we still haven't made the playoffs or won a playoff game, but there were a bunch of winners on that football field on this team last night. Wade needs to start treating them like winners behind closed doors and in front of the media, and that means publically showing expectations that they will win. Less "defensive" posturing, and more OFFENSIVE swagger. If they fail, they fail anyway, what difference does it make, the media will crucify them either way, and better to go down swinging, but I think pushing this team by being aggressive and confident starting with the head coach would be a welcome change (no cockiness though, look at how that bit NO last night, hehe).
