FRISCO - We've established long ago that the Dallas Cowboys don't want to continue on with Ezekiel Elliott on the roster under the terms of his existing contract, and that a re-do of his deal is a primary option.
Is it even feasible for us to trade him. If you designate release him June 1st you can split the dead money hit. Trade and that full hit comes at once and for what a 6th rounder at best, negotiated while the Bucs GM was having a seizure!

Zeke will probably be released for cap savings. However I hope he renegotiates his contract. As I would love to see the meltdowns. :lmao:

With a new OL coach, and once the get a new RB coach. And with MM calling plays, and some new schemes and plays installed. And of the OL can stay consistent for once. Zeke still has something to prove and will do it.

If you can trade zeke and a 6th for a 7th you take it
Then fans can whine how stupid Jerry is that they should have got more, like Cooper and all that whining.

Only make the trade if they take on his contract as well. Let them renegotiate. And come out without paying part of the contract. Though there will be dead money still involved I believe. How much would that be.

Anything hgher than a 4th is icing on the cake. Mostly because of the contract..

I Assume if we trade him were buying extra cap space thats why we give up a 6th. Otherwise just cut him an move on.

It would cost us a 1st rounder to GIVE him away. The law of diminishing returns is showing here. Its like having a storage unit full of junk and paying 1-800 JUNK to take your stuff away.

If you can Trade Zeke that'll be a testament to good ownership

RBs have a short shelf life and Zeke body has been through alot for the past 7 years and its catching up to him
more like he partys more than he exercises ?
but if they worked it they might get a 6th round pick for him and unload him and his contract except for dead money.
But jerry wants to keep him so he might get extended lol.

We would have to throw in picks for them to take the contract. Bucs are tanking anyways so getting picks to take on a bad contract makes sense for them.

Zeke wouldn’t make a CFL roster at this point. He’s washed up. only a blind man can’t see that…no one is trading for him…
