Would you call Belichick?

[Rayman70]

Should we? Even if it's just a 2 year temporary fix but gets us pointed in the right direction, should we give him a call to see if he'd come back to the NFL? At very least we'd have some sort of discipline hopefully. We'd be prepared, even if we lose. This team doesn't know how to prepare and win. It's clear. With our young guys we drafted, I think hiring BB could be enough to at least win the division. Nobody takes this team serious. He'd be a bridge. But a upgrade over this horrifying staff.

[Reality]

I wouldn't call Belichick if he offered to coach for free.

I've never been a fan of his as he never won anything without Tom Brady and even Bruce Arians won a Super Bowl coaching the Buccaneers with a 43-year old Tom Brady.

[cowboyec]

in a heart beat.
but i don't believe our gm has the guts or football smarts to do it.
same with mike tomlin.
but in a heart beat i'd hire belichick if he wanted this job.

I'm with you. Not a big BB fan. Just wondering if Jerry might would.

[Cowboys93]

Does his girlfriend get to be the DC? May not be much worse

[sunalsorises]

Coaching is a problem but it's not the only one.

[Rayman70]

We don't seem to prepare well. We don't have discipline.

Agreed

[Havic]

Id pass on him. I’d take a serious look at Flores, McDermott, etc.

Idk about Tomlin, he had some pretty crappy offenses

[ArtClink]

Belichick is a real hc and Jerry doesn’t hire those kind of coaches, nor do legitimate head coaches ever consider taking the Dallas job. Jerry is not going to hire the type of hc needed to turn things around.

The Bucs defense in reality won that SB…. People forget how bad the Patriots offense was the last year Brady was there, meaning with Bellichek. He wasn’t carrying the offense that year and Bellicek’s right hand men left, Ernie Adams (the genius and architect of Spygate) and Dante Scarnechia, the OL coach.

If those two find the fountain of youth and come back with Bellichek, than yeah..

I hear you but this would be a bigger clown show then it already is. It would be comical when Bill kicks Jerry and Stephen out of the meeting rooms.

[SwagSurfer]

No

[Gonzomandela01]

At this point I'd call Jason Garrett's personal assistant.

[CowboyChris]

if this team doesn’t win at least it’s next 2 games and get to 500, then the best thing to do is have a fire sale before the deadline, that includes Dak!!

[thunderpimp91]

You’ll end up with Mike Pettine. It will be Jerry’s way to make a coaching change but still keep the rest of the staff. It’s the cheapest option.

[Chocolate Lab]

Doesn't matter, he'd want too much control for Jerry to ever seriously consider it.

[Rayman70]

True. Right now, we are worse than a clown show. We are flat embarrassing. A joke. Teams are literally laughing at us in the game. Our own players are doing it too. They have become indifferent to the outcome. We need a jolt of lightning stat! We are sleep walking thru the year.

Probably

The issue of this team go so, so very far from who the HC is. Don’t fret too much if all you care about is winning the crappy division. That’s still likely to happen. Upcoming wins on the way to satiate the year to year fan.
