Given the $20mn+ per year price tag he is going to be able to command, would you consider franchise tagging him and trading him? Given the cost involved and that it'd be clear we are moving him, unlikely we get much more than a 2019 2nd and some change.

Personally, I wouldn't.

..Its not just pass rush skills that Dlaw brings, but his passionate attitude. He's a motivator and leader for the defense.. ALL those combined makes him worthwhile to keep.

Personally, I wouldn't.

I would prefer to keep him because it's hard to find a guy who can play as well as he does. But his contract demands may end up being an issue.

Only way I'd consider trading him is if he brings in a Khalil Mack haul (2 1st rounders). That's probably not going to happen though, so no.

Yeah lets trade a top tier defensive end, because we all know they grow on trees, I'm sure another one or two will be along in a decade or so for the Cowboys to find and groom!

He’s going to get QB money.

Byron Jones is another guy that’s going to command a big contract.

Dallas needs to win now. These contracts are about to get bad which is another reason to avoid paying Dak.
