Would you pay 531.25 to go see the Cowboys?

You can rent a 16 seat Crown Suite at Texas Stadium for that per person. It includes your game tickets for the number of seats in the suite, parking passes, a catered meal from Texas Stadium Catering, and a fully stocked bar with beer, wine, soft drinks and liquor.

I was thinking that it might be a cool way for a bunch of us to get together in style before they tear the place down. Might be something worth looking at for next year or 2008 if anyone else is up for it.

The December 2006 Cowboys? No.

The team I expected the 2006 Cowboys to be? Depending on the stakes of the game, say NFC Championship or Super Bowl then absolutely.

Well, if we get enough folks who are interested we could get it set up right here on this forum. I think it would be cool to meet face to face some of the folks on here who make the week go by so quickly between games and off season.

I paid $400 a seat for the Rollings Stones, so with the current value proposition, I would say "no".

Well, yes I would pay if I could.
Excepting before I do I'd have to pay for food and shelter.
If you guys go together it would be like a date, right?;)

I'm in, just let me know. Of course, by then I may have made too big an arse of myself on this site for anyone to actually invite me.

Count me in for definitely 2. I could certainly get another 2-3 people in as well.

Ive been watching the Boys since 71, never set foot in Texas. Been trying to find a friend to go with for the longest time but gave up on that, so I was planning my first trip alone this season but cancelled it when they got Owens (yes I hate him that much) But it isnt so horrible to cheer when he catches a td after all so I do want to go to a game in the old stadium before it goes down (then Ill go again in 6 or 7 years to see the new one). So I would be interested. 08 might be a bit better for me than 07.

The way we've been playing at home I'm hesitant to buy a standard ticket. I live in Lake Tahoe, With my luck I would spend all that money to fly out, hotel, tickets stc. to take my wife to Dallas for the first time and my three year old boy to his very first Cowboys game only to get embarassed like we have recently.

Maybe the new stadium will give us a better home atmosphere, but every home game I've gone to wev'e lost, and overral weve been iffy at home for a while. Maybe I'll wait till we have two home games in a row to increase my odds of having a nice time when I fly out, maybe back to back games against Houston & Cleveland?

I agree. I've been to a few select games. I went to an American Bowl back in whatever year when they played the Lions over in Wembley Stadium and i've been to a couple of home games at Texas Stadium.

The American Bowl in England was a pre-season deal back when the league was just getting hot & heavy on the idea of branching out internationally. That Wembley Stadium is a beautiful sight. It was made even more beautiful by loads of fans (some Cowboys fans others just curious) in there going off cheering and doing some of the traditional English soccer chants.

Awesome Awesome experience. Every Cowboys fan should do the "in person" thing at least once in their lifetimes.

The idea certainly is attractive if one has the discretionary income and a desire to see it at least once. It would overcome the warm beer and wet restrooms problems and minimize the traffic since you would arrive early and stay late with something interesting to do. Considering the cost of tickets and the usual inconveniences, this idea has merit and would certainly enhance the experience for those who want to go to a game there.

While I, personally, have no desire to go, I can see it would be attractive to those who do. Life is so peaceful out here in the middle of nowhere, I would rather just stay home and watch it on TV and avoid all the bother. Some geezers get that way, I guess and I forgot what else I wanted to say.
