I’m not at all sold on Stroud in Houston. If Williams can go off for a 100 and they feed him control clock Houston is winnable . Same in Seattle . If the defense is much improved Darnold hardly to be feared .

the Offense was great; expecting that to be just as good is a little much

BUT the defense really cannot get any worse and has pretty got to get better

So if we get 85% of the offense but 125% of the defense then we are a better overall team. Schedule looks tougher

so right now 9 wins seems a reasonable bet

At 8.5 with the changes we made this off-season I thought the over was an easy bet. Not meaning it was a lock but just the odds to win greatly exceeded the odds to lose plus the odds of the bet. At 9.5 it’s very hard. If I had to pick right now I lean over but I’m really not sure and really wouldn’t argue it one way or the other.

I mean we all know our defense should be a lot better, but we weren’t just bad last year, we were horrible and historically bad. When you are historically bad you have a long way to go just to reach “bad”.
