Would you trade 2017 1st and 101 for 32 and 76?

Not realistic and won't happen, but fun to consider.

Would you? And either way, have some fun, pretend it went down and tell us what you'd do with the picks.

32 - Robinson - 1T/3T - BPA and first round talent who will soon put Thornton on the bench
34 - Spence - DE - Best pass rusher on the board
67 - Hackenberg - QB - As we don't have a first next year, need to look at a young QB now
76 - Blair - DE - Best pass rusher on the board

I know it's overkill, but I don't care. The offense will be elite (or damn well better be), so lets fix the defense, starting on the D-Line. We'd need to spend some money on the secondary next off-season, but the line would be set, and would evolve into a major strength over the next couple years.

The 2017 1st rd pick is in a lock box and no one has the key. Stay away from that pick. And, no, it is not fun to consider trading the 2017 1st rd pick. Not at all.

No. I think pick 101 can be a solid pick and I never want to give up a future 1st.

I guess some of us who have been around for a while had all the fun we care to have with the Galloway trade for two 1sts. And then we had a little extra fun with WR Roy Williams. So. No more fun for me. :)

Fair enough. After looking at the chart, I should have asked about 32 and 76 for the pick alone. But not even sure I'd do that. You'd have to value your guy as a top 20 pick to do it. Otherwise, the risk is way too much.

No, I don't want to be sitting here next year watching the 1st round go by with us having no pick. Plus our 1st round picks have been our only real good picks lately. And what if Romo got hurt again next year and we have another 4-12 season. Do you want to see another team using our #4 pick on a QB we may need because I am sure as heck not sold on Hackenberg being the future.

Only if we get Joey Galloway or Roy Williams.

Yes.. Without thinking twice. They have a first rounder grade on a few of these guys, the bump from 101 to 76 is a sweetener.
