.@TomPelissero report on Sheldon Richardson is spot on. #Jets would LOVE a 3 - not sure they get that. Can't speak to Calvin Pryor scenario.

I might be tempted w/ a 4th...if he was willing to renegotiate that contract and add on a couple of years and spread the cap hit around.

Don't see the point in taking on that contract and giving up a pick to stop the progress of Collins and Irving.

No. The Patriots changed the landscape this year. The best I would do is swap picks. I would give then a 4th for SR and a 5th. Maybe a 3rd for a 4th in return.

I offer our 4th and a 6th next year. Only if he signs a 2/3 year extension based on incentives which I doubt he does because he is a FA next year.

Day 1 he is is our best LDE, 3T, 1T AND RDE

Call me greedy but I want starters out of the first three rounds of every draft. So no, I wouldn't trade a 3rd this year for him. However, I give them my 4th rounder without hesitation!!! And please spare me the Dakota Prescott was drafted in the 4th...I am aware of that. Lol

Dallas lands Charlton, and two more defensive starters in the 2nd and 3rd (CB and S maybe) THEN adds a player that would be head and shoulders better than every other player in his position meeting room...I would be very pleased.

There's no one left on that draft board that can touch the talent of Richardson. I give up a 3rd and not even sweat it. They can worry about signing him to an extention as the year goes by.

Hell to the no.

You'd trade away 4 years of cheap club control for a one year rental? Then he's gonna want a Brinks truck next off-season.

No thank you.

Trading for a guy who is one failed drug test from joining Randy Gregory in purgatory?

What could possibly go wrong with this scenario?

Not interested. He is a knucklehead and one joint away from suspension. He has also had previous trouble with the law. A ******* in the same mold as Greg Hardy or Rolondo McClain.

They could have just signed a free agent.

The 3rd round pick just get him for 1 year. The following years are the same as signing a free agent.

That's 1 year, for 8 million. Not exactly a bargain for a 3rd round pick.

I would, think this team is close and he would mean nice depth amongst the orphans. If they go TE next then it's all regrets.

Now ask yourselves....Would you have traded Jourdan Lewis for Richardson?
