if we could trade dez for a late first or early second round pick, or a good corner or D lineman, would you do it?

i think we would be ok with miles and robinson as our top 2 WRs, and i think that kid that got hurt at the end of the fourth preseason game(i forget his name) would make a good 3rd receiver, maybe the next victor cruz.

my point is, i think we have a lot of talented WRs, and we could move Dez for some D help

Dez is one of the only guys who looks like he cares out there.

He's got some growing up to do, but absolutely would not trade him.

Late 1st or EARLY 2nd round pick? What? lololololol

No...i think his passion and relentlessness is what this team needs right now....i think he is more important to the future of the team than any WR we have...not just as a WR but a leader....over the next few seasons we are gonna watch a special player develop

It depends on what is being offered. Multiple picks including a 1st rounder, or adding in a good vet player in his prime should be entertained.

one word: no

Unless I'm hearing top 10 pick forget it.

For defensive help?

I would trade Miles Austin 5 times over before Dez Bryant for defensive help.

Hillarious guy to chose trading for defensive help.

Get an older guy if you're going to do that.

The kid was looking pretty boss by the end of the season. Even more physically imposing.

By this time next year we wouldnt even take Revis for him.

Dez is cleaned up and on the rise.

Call me crazy now. We won't be by the end of next season.

are you suggesting a trade like the one that happened in 1990? the one that resulted in emmitt smith being picked by dallas?

Perhaps not to that degree. I don't feel that trades like that will ever happen in the NFL again. Herschel Walker is more famous for that trade than all of the good things he did on the football field.

However, if a team offered a high 1st rounder and 3rd rounder. Or a high 1st, 5th rounder, and decent d-lineman or cornerback, I would say bye to Dez and not look back.

No I wouldn't trade him. The steelers and the ravens consistently find defensive studs in the draft regardless of where they're picking. If you have a GM who knows what he's doing, which we don't you can find talent anywhere.

i think we tend to overrate Dez a bit, he is a good talent, but it seems to me like he actually regressed this season, he seemed to disappear in the second half of games, and was just overall didnt live up to what was expected of him. Sure he has fire and all that, but we need a top corner or D lineman more than we need yet another good WR when that is probably the deepest part of our team. i think if a team like the cleveland browns offered their pick for dez and our first, we should do it and take the best CB in the draft

thats true, but our GM seems more intent on finding "wow" offensive players than big uglies or tough secondary players. Hopefully Jason and Rob will persuade Jerry to start fixing the defense before we do anything else, with the exception of maybe a G or a C

How has he regressed? He had nearly 400 more receiving yards, 20 more catches, and 3 more touchdowns than he did in his rookie season. He's not a good talent he's a GREAT talent. He has improved alot as far as his route running goes since the beginning of the season. He's also become a very clutch reciever.

No he's not. What did Robinson do before he was a Cowboy? Nothing matter of fact he struggled to just stay on a team. He benefits greatly from playing with Romo and also from all the double teams Dez and Miles get. He'd struggle as a #1 WR. As a #3 he's very good, but don't overrate him.

Love the respect for production. But :laugh2:
