This is my first time researching this player........my goodness, what a player. First, I am surprised he hasn't been traded, because he drew interest from several teams (Eagles, Lions, Raiders, Browns), but none were willing to give the Bengals a 1st-round pick they were asking for.

I am pretty confident THIS is the player Jerry is talking about, he may use one of the Packers 1st first-round picks now to acquire a player. His 2024 season was the best of his career.......led the league in sacks 17.4, Voted first team ALL-PRO, 2nd DPOY voting. He is just a notch below Parsons in sacks and pressures BUT a stud against the run. Imagine getting a Parsons and DLaw in one.

Some fans would love this......his character and leadership are off the charts, similar to Dak.

Would I do it? YES!!!!!!!!
Production, leadership and cheaper checks ALL the boxes as a damn good replacement for Parsons

Yes. You get the same production out of Parsons, sacks wise.
The only issue is I think the Bengals want a replacement for Hendrickson in a trade.
Obviously, can't be as good as Trey, but a pick + a edge IIRC.

See if they'll take Williams, a 1st + mid pick for Trey.

Let's do it. I been wanting us to get him . He's just a true dawg. He shines in the biggest games. Very consistent...and let's his play do his talking. He's the Kryptonite for Mahomes btw. He gives the chiefs fits. Micah is like Simba. Trey is mufasa.

Isnt he pretty much off the table now?
Why would he be????
In fact.......I would think the Bengals are even more motivated now with him def becoming a free agent at the end of the season. May not even take a 1st now..........that's what they initially wanted.

Imagine flipping one of the 1sts for Trey. In return for Micah, you’d end up with:
  • Trey Hendrickson
  • Kenny Clark
  • 1st round pick
  • $17M (the diff between what you’d pay Micah vs Trey)

I’d be against it because you’d get older. The whole sell for Micah was to get two 1st rounders for the future.

As we get closer to the trade deadline, and if Cincy and/or the Raiders are doing badly, heck yes, I would call to see if we could get Crosby or Trey. I wouldn't give up a 1st for Hendrickson. Id offer two 2's and a player. Send them Mazi lol

My question is why didn’t we just trade for Myles Garrett in the offseason and then deal Micah. I’m sure they would have taken a 1 and called it a day.

Absolutely not. Keep the first round picks and find the next Micah (impossible I know). Anything more than a 3rd and you are over-paying giving his contract and age
