Would You Trade Micah Parsons for 2 First Picks in the 2026 NFL Draft?

Arch Manning would be a genuine foundational piece to build a roster from.

We then would just need a better roster builder(GM) and future teacher(HC) for him.
But yes, whatever steps it takes to finally land an actual elite QB should be done.
This franchise with this current GM and co do not have the vision to do that. They will draft someone in the 5th round and claim that there is no difference between him and Arch Manning. Proclaim that they won because they got "value" - whatever the hell that means.

Thank you!

Micah is our best player and his new contract will be very costly. The Browns have 2 First Round Picks next year. You could use these picks to move up to get Arch Manning or make deals multiple draft picks in the Day 2 & 3 and set us up with a bonanza of future key players. Would you do it?
Rams have two !st rounders too. They will definitely go after a QB.

No.

It’d turn the defense from fine to complete butt cheek. He’s one of the best pass rushers this team has ever had. He is a cornerstone player.

Look at what the Raiders got for Khalil Mack. They traded an elite pass rusher for two first round picks.

Where are the guys they selected with those picks now? Hint - they sucked. One guy is a bottom of the roster JAG on a different team and the other guy is in the CFL.

The fact that some people in this fanbase want to trade away a 25 year old who already has 52.5 sacks in his career is just absolutely absurd to me.

It is an inexcusably absurd opinion to me.
Yes, no I wouldn't trade him.

If we had moved to a 3-4, I’d say no, but in a 4-3, YES…..for 2 first round selections, I would trade him. When was the last time you saw anyone give 2 #1s for a Pass rusher or give two first round picks to move up in the draft for a Pass rusher?
About time we moved to a 3-4.With the signing of Ezeiruaku we have our OLB'S

Would take 2 firsts and maybe 2 2nds and a 3rd and 4th. From a team that's sub .500. Probably I would do it. 2026 is going to be loaded with talent and we would have to seriously start looking for Dak's replacement.
Would "I" take 6 draft picks for Parsons? Heck yeah, I would.

But the real question is: Would Jerry? Honestly, I don't think so.

When do you make this trade. He is playing on his 5th year option.
They would need franchise tag him, then wait until the draft to trade him.

What if the Browns do not have a top pick to get Manning. And maybe the Browns would want to pick Manning if none of their 5 current QBs work out.
By the way - there’s some talk that Manning might be all hat and no cattle if he didn’t have the name. Word is his arm is more Archie than Peyton and he couldn’t beat out a late round draft pick at his position, time will tell I guess but he’s got some work to do.

Trade him to Xleveland for 2 number 1s. That pretty much means you will have a top 3 pick 2 years in a row.

If Arch Manning comes out you mean. Arch has told many that he isn't leaving school until after his senior year meaning the 2027 draft.

Man, some of you guys really don't read or pay attention first of all

no, I wouldn't trade him ,2nd of all why would the Browns want him they just resigned there marquee pass rusher and third of all manning is not coming out in 2026 manning's probably coming out in 2027.. But if you're going to trade him it's going to be to a team that doesn't have a $40 million defensive end on the other side because I guarantee they're not going to pay Garrett $40 million and turn around and get Parsons 42 million you really think they're gonna tie up $82 million in defensive ends?

So can we stop both odd narratives around here that Parsons should be traded which the draft is over he's not getting traded he's going to be resigned soon and then we can put this to bed but that second narrative somehow you think that we're going to be bad enough to be the number one overall pick in the nfl Draft even in 2027 that's what it's going to take you're going to have to be really bad and this team doesn't tank most teams are not going to try to be the number 1 team in the league picking to get Manning maybe they will maybe they know he's coming out but they don't even know that there's rumors he may stay three more years he may want to graduate college before he comes out his family doesn't need the money they don't need to fame they don't need the hype they're going to keep him in college for as long as they think it's going to help himself personally you know to get his degree and to make him the best possible nfl player when he does come out you all don't understand that I do i'm a Longhorn fan he's not coming out unless my miracle they decide something after this season because maybe he was a Heisman Trophy winner maybe they won a national championship maybe he's at his peak but no that that's a 1% chance he's not coming out till twenty twenty seven so don't bank on it...

Now add this first of all he's not our best player he's one of our best players I'm sorry but if you're trying to discount what lamb means to this team and there's others we have five marquee players and he's one of them but trying to say he's our best player that would be debatable but no I'm not going to trade him regardless and he's not going to the Browns I said that in my other post but I'm going to say this now what team who just paid their defensive end $40 million you're going to turn around and give up draft picks two first round draft picks just to then turn around and pay Parsons 42 million because that's the hold up here he said he wasn't going to do that and apparently his agent is doing that the reason he hasn't got a new deal yet is because he's trying to be the highest paid non quarterback in the league and holding the Cowboys hostage for 42 million you really think that they're going to give up that much draft capital and then have two highly paid defensive ends in the league two of the highest paid skill players in the league just on defense?

Think about it if you find a trade partner you need to find one that's looking for a defensive end because they don't have award addy or they don't have a defensive end that's already making $40 million so if you find one if you want to be hypothetical find me the team that is hungry for a defensive end and that's willing to give us two first round picks and then turn around and hang them the biggest skill player contract in the history of the nfl think about it then get back to me..

I have been saying we should move to 3-4 for two years now. Parsons is an OLB in the mold of Ware and would be even a bigger terror because he can also drop into coverage something that ware wasn't as good in doing. Osa is a good 3-4 DE. put mazi and the UCLA kid in the middle. Fowler can also play OLB. the new kid from BC can play the other outside LB and we bring speed and terror from both sides. the problem is the other guys at DE are too small to play 3-4 DEs....

Arch Manning will make a lot of NIL money in college and given that both his uncles, Peyton and Eli, played out their college years, I would not expect to see Arch Manning declare for the draft until 2027 or 2028.

The only way I see him leaving earlier would be if a team he wants to play for has the number one pick in the draft that year.
This. He’s already said he’s going to play college for awhile as well. Also, let’s be honest. He’s never even started a season yet. He needs some seasoning.

Yeah, I keep thinking, wonder if he is all hype, or more hype than substance.
We need to see him an entire stretch of games all season long.
