Miami's picks #26 and #39?? The Miami Dolphins are loaded with draft capital this year, and if Dallas doesnt like anyone when the pick comes why not trade down and add a nice draft pick to fill more needs??
IF you feel this trade is lopsided for one team what would you include to make it a fairer trade??

100% but Miami might not like that deal. I think Getting Miami's 3rd and 4th would be more realistic.

Miami fans are hoping an offensive lineman or one of the wide receivers is still there, according to the Dolphins boards ,those are the 2 positions their fans want the most after they take a quarterback early. Then they will focus on the defensive side. Of course as a Cowboy's fan I have to admit that pick #39 is enticing. That's why I stated in my comment "if you think this trade is unfair to one side or the other, what would you Add to make it a fairer deal for both teams?? Dallas does have 2 fifth rounders.

... I was listening to a mock draft where the Cowboys "GM" traded down for the Colts #34 & #44 pick and thought that was a good deal. You're damn right I'm taking this trade if offered; I don't need to see who's on the board.

If you believe in the traditional trade value chart, #26 & #39 combined are worth 1290 points compared to the value of 950 for #17 overall. The difference in value there is equal to pick #56 (2nd Round, 24th Overall), which ironically is a pick the Miami Dolphins own.

Yeah this is a no-brainer. 3 top 51 picks? Yes please.

Yes, but they wouldn't

Those selections aren't far off what when we traded down in 2013. Which got us a late 3rd. We aren't getting an early 2nd

yes

In theory, yes, but it depends who is on the board that we'd be passing up.

If the question is would you trade Chaisson for Murray and Terrell, the answer is probably no.

If they agree to throw in Rosen. With the uncertainties over Daks future and the lack of depth in the QB room, Dallas needs to come out of this draft with at least a good backup QB.

I think we should go after Rosen regardless. If Miami takes a QB early, he'll be surplus to requirements - they'll retain Fitzmagic as their vet QB. We may be able to pick him up for a mid to low pick. Gives us a cheap option at QB with potential upside. Even if he only ever becomes a solid backup, it will be worth it.

It's massively lopsided in favor of Dallas. There is no plausible player that could be on the board IMO that would stop me from making that trade as the Dallas GM. To balance that trade we'd have to give back a 2021 2nd round pick or our 3rd + 4th round picks.

Not that deal but I could see Miami making a deal to trade up. The move I'd expect other than QB would be to use 18 and a 2nd or 3rd to move up into range to get an OT.

I look to the trade-down for fredrick which was almost the same pick, value. Same situation, yet we got end of the first rounder and a 3rd rounder in exchange. Unfortunately don't think it's possible to get two picks that good but it would amazing if so!
