Would you welcome MM back if he doesn't get Saints job?

As comfy as he makes it there for the players, why wouldn't they want him there
Schotty hire is all about comfort too. Comfort for Stephen. He simply must feel comfortable. Jerry's fine with a gamble, but not Stephen.

opposite would be shake things up, which is what successful organizations would do

I agree but I think it's also comfortable for Dak which is their HUGE investment!!! In all truth, what good is comfortable doing for them

no.
hire brian schottenheimer...start on a micah deal...get back to football instead of all this mumbo-jumbo.

Why? He didn’t do what he was hired to do and when he did get the Cowboys into the Wildcard playoff he got waxed by GB.

Jerry would. But Stephen appears to have his anchor down for his drinking buddy Schott
Ol Jerry and Stephen remind me of those two old men scientists that always think everything is Brilliant, Brilliant. GOOD LORD we need new leaders here badly.

When you gotta pick between cat turds and dog turds

Damning? It fairly rare a coach leaves a team after going 7-10, fired or otherwise and even gets considered for another
Job immediately, much less hired!
Except in GB McCarthy went 7-9 in 2017 followed up by a 4-7-1 2018 season in which he got fired in December.
He then took the 2019 year off in his barn studying analytics before Jerry rewarded him at his sleepover in 2020.
So yeah, it happens.
But ONLY in JerryWorld.

LOL
Cowboys!

Make up your mind! Do you want his thoughts or not!

It seems unlikely that the Cowboys would bring back McCarthy now given that it would require offering contracts to all other coaches added to the staff as well.

On top of that, some of McCarthy's staff have already moved on and signed or are in the process of signing with other teams.

Everyone focuses on just the head coach but from what I have read, all of the coach contracts expired after the season so bringing back McCarthy would require a full commitment to him and his staff for the next 3-4 years.

Didn't McClays contract expire also?

Have you guys figured out that we're the only team in the NFL? That's going to offer this guy a job.
