Damn that has gotta sting. Kyle Field, holy ground to Aggies everywhere, treated like just another stadium by a team that was 4-3 coming into the game. And I'm afraid isn't going to get much better in Aggieland. You see, they're still one victory away from being Bowl Eligible. That means they have to win one of their final 3 games to get into a Bowl Game. What are their final 3 games you ask:
@ Texas Tech
-A&M just gave up 371 yards passing, a 214 yard receiver, and 4 TDs through the air yesterday. A little stat to go along with that, out of the 117 teams that play Division I-A Football, A&M's secondary (otherwise known as "The Burn Unit") ranks 115th in Pass Defense. And now you're telling me they have to travel to Lubbock to face a Tech Offense whose idea of balance is 95% passing-5% running and has a QB who has already thrown for over 640 yards in a game this year? Uh-oh.
@ Oklahoma
-Wow, OU is starting to become a really solid team. Beating Nebraska in Lincoln is still a solid accomplishment and the return of Adrian Peterson seems to have rejuvenated the OU Offense. They definitely have their ship turned around and that is really bad news for Fran & Company when they head North of the Red River in a couple of weeks. Remember what happened the last time A&M travelled to Norman? 77-0 ring a bell? Once again, Uh-oh.
Texas
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! But seriously, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
No wins for A&M in that group. So that means A&M loses it's final four games, finishes the regular season with a record of 5-6, and doesn't even get to go to a Bowl Game. Sorry Ags, maybe next year. Hey, y'all have heard that one before right?
