Well-it wasn't like Philly called the Packers.

OTOH-maybe McNabb's shoulder injury from mini-camps may be worse than everyone's being lead to believe, and the Packers ended up getting tipped off about it? OR Philly did something to get GB to call them, possibly knowing McNabb's shoulder is still in question?

Smart move by the Pack. Regardless of Favre's skill, at least he stays on the field for the entire season. Much more than anyone can say for McNabb. if I was the Eagles, I'd certainly take the call and see what they're asking for.

Nope, it probably would have Favre and then Green Bay would file tampering charges against you.

They called everyone.

I am so tired of the name Brett Favre right now.

They won't stop saying his name over and over again!!!

yeah i agree with you DC, when the first announced Farve's retirement, was suppose to be a good taping of the dallas cowboys game, but they cut into it on nfl network. Again, later was again suppose to be good coverage on the dallas cowboys by nfl network a week ago or so, but again because of Farve pulling his stuff, they cut out some of the Dallas Cowboys highlight stuff.

So, it is starting to get old, I agree with you, just get the trade done, and lets move on.

I'm surprised any team would want Favre since he is the interception king.
He throws alot but did find a way to win.

He is still miles better than the Commanders QB.

When Tony Dungy was in Tampa, he once said that he counted ALOT MORE INTs on game tape when studying Favre...

Pt being that Favre throws BULLETS, which is why his INT total isn't as high as it should be.

Sure-he's the INT king, but if he doesn't throw fireballs, just imagine what his total really would be.

Maybe if he throws for another 60,000 yards, people will start spelling his name right.

Funny, even on the crawler on ESPN they didn't put Favre's info under the NFL, he had his own heading.

I like Favre, he is a great player, fun to watch and truly has fun playing the game. I have no problem with him trying to come back and the attention he is getting.

I am actually suprised he didn't call Snyder first. This seems like a destined relationship. Favre is a HoF player who is far too old and at the tail end of his career. Snyder would jump at the chance.
