Just a couple of years removed from their Super Bowl victory, they nab Cameron Jordan and Mark Ingram.

Great first day for them.

I agree. Theyve had a nice draft and will be a force in the south

They had the best first round IMO. Then again, that's not hard to say since they have made two picks to every other team's one pick. However, they got very good players with both picks.

Looks good on paper but they also gave up their 2nd this year and next years 1st.

I don't know about that. Ingram was very banged up this past year, thats all they need is another injury prone RB.
Also I was never high on Cam Jordan and I don't think he fits their scheme. Where does he play DE or DT in a 4-3.
If I was a Saints fan maybe I would be happy but looking as a unbiased fan, I don't think its all that great.

Yikes, I just realized that. I thought it was just next year's first. That's a bit tough, but they're going for it.

I think Jordan fits in just fine as a 43 DE. Great size and tremendous athletic ability for the position.

Ingram is a bit of a risk.

not me, he played 3-4 DE in college, doesn't have the quickness to be a pass rushing 43 DE. I think he will slide over and be a one gap DT and be just a good starter.

Its a good pick but not a great pick.

I think he has plenty of quickness to play DE. Living just down the road from Berkley, I've seen Jordan play a ton at Cal. Peep his measurables too, they don't lie.
