They are awful, they suck, why haven't they...........

guys, do the people who spew this stuff have ANY idea how hard it is to be successful in the NFL? It takes time to adjust to the league.

I can't wait for these guys to get on the field and prove you nah sayers wrong.

I love my team and I'm optimistic that we will have a great season. Will we lead the league in every category and have the best QB, RB, OLB, etc in the league? I'm sure we won't be the best at everything. But I am confident that the boys will battle and give it one heck of a shot at getting to the Super Bowl!

Most of the things that the "negative" were saying turned out to be mostly true. The way this training camp seems to be going validates most criticisms of last year's team, from training camp to the dismal end in Philly.

My belief is that once this team breaks through and wins a playoff game, it will be like the Aikman, Smith, and Irvin boys. We are going on a run for multiple years!!

The hardest part is learning how to win. This is true for every team!

We were terrible last pre-season and started the year 3-0.

It's not the history of beginning - its the history of ending that gets the fans negative. Most of those awful pre-season games were omens for the poor special teams - where the majority of rookies are/were playing.

This team has made a tradition out of blowing up late in the year so I think fans are pretty sullen, the team will have to earn the respect of the fans by showing up and winning the bigger games this year.

Even the vets were pretty ticked at the performance this team put up last year.

Well, one things for sure........................

This BETTER be the year I think it's gonna' be, or Wade and Garrett are sure goners.

Of course I'm optimistic for this coming year. I think being more of a "sleeper" than a favorite works in our favor. I think Romo, sans T.O., is freed up to be the offensive's loudest voice and true leader. I think the Defense is a top 5 unit in the league. And I think that Roy Williams got a bad rap last year, coming on board at mid-season and expected to be the next Micheal Irvin and all.

I'm not a big fan of this coaching staff, expecially on offense. I think it's a shame, given the mediocrity (Cardinals, Giants, Seattle in the SB) in the recent NFC, that we could'nt capitalize on this the last few years. My fear is that the NFC is coming back to respectibility and will be more intense.

But this team has all the tools to do it all. It will again come down to leadership and coaching, momentum and confidence. Nothing physical. It's all between the ears with this bunch.................

Why should this team do well?
Why should they win a playoff game this year?
Why should I believe this team is that talented?

Only 3 out of 32 teams have a winning record each of the last 3 season.
Patriots, Colts and Cowboys.

That tells me a few things, but most of all it clearly demonstrates that this is one of the more talented teams in football.

But isn't that the easy way out. If you are skeptical and don't ever believe until they actually do it, then you are never wrong. like someone earlier said there are 31 teams that don't make it so all of their fans could say the same thing and be right.

No, it's not the easy way out. This team no longer deserves the benefit of the doubt. They proved the last 2 years they couldn't handle the hype and the pressure that comes with it. I love the cowboys, but im not buying into any type of expectation. This team has to show me first that they can thrive in december and make a deep run into the playoffs. I'm tired of hearing how much talent we have. I want to see it translated into success on the field.
