The Wade Phillips hiring says everything you need to know about the legacy of Parcells. There is no point in hiring Wade if Parcells didn't do something good for this team. You might as well hire an entirely new crew and start off in a fresh direction if Parcells was just a waste o' time.
You don't need to hire a veteran coach if you're building from scratch. You should try to hit a coaching home run.
