Jaguars released Allen Hurns.
The move saves $7 million against the cap. The writing was on the wall for Hurns after the Jaguars gave Donte Moncrief a one-year, $9.6 million contract. Hurns was probably overpaid in Jacksonville, but he is a solid receiver who should have no trouble finding a new home. The Jaguars will move forward with Marqise Lee, Moncrief, Dede Westbrook, and Keelan Cole atop the depth chart. Mar 20 - 10:16 AM

How did Donte Moncrief rob someone so bad, his production last year was terrible. Has upside, but your paying maximum for it, that shouldn't be the case.

After seeing what Moncrief, wilson and some others get really high offers I wouldn't be surprised someone pays this kid. Might call and see what he is looking for but not paying more than what we gave twill.

Aslong as he doesn't stop us from drafting dj Moore or Calvin Ridley, I dont mind.
I just wish we would sign a speed receiver to compliment Dez. He hasn't had a guy with speed since 2011 Miles Austin. Even he wasn't a burner. Its the same thing M Irvin went through until finally they signed Ismail and we looked like the 2000 rams for 3 games.

It would actually hurt us to cut TWill. If we cut him we take a $2.5 million CAP hit this year. We would not save CAP space but would give up $2.5 million of CAP space this year. TWill is a Cowboy in 2018. He is not going anywhere this year. We can cut him in 2019.
