Imagine seeing Ruggs and Arnette as one team's selections, then Lamb and Diggs another. Which team would you guess had picks 12 and 19 and which one had 17 and 51. We let the draft come to us and nailed it.

The Raiders two drafts are why Mayock belongs on TV and not in a front office

Not even so much compared to other teams. Just look at our alternative. If Dallas passed on Lamb then who? Chaisson then Diggs and some 3rd round WR? As opposed to Lamb, Diggs, and Gallimore? Regardless how things turn out since no one has an actual working crystal ball, what we did was a no brainer.

Will be fun to compare the careers of these 4. Ruggs & Arnette will have more opportunity early on.
That was early for both players, but especially for Arnette.
But I'm actually a fan. Certainly would've been happy if Dallas got him.....at 51 and....Diggs was already gone.

What is this based on? The Raiders had an incredible draft last year.
Time will tell if Ruggs was the right WR to pick, and many people saw Arnette as a reach, but they got some nice guys on day 2/3.

Did you see the footage of the Gruden household? I’m almost positive his son was the short muscular dude that looks just like him.

That dude scares me for some reason, lool.

*EDIT...I googled “Jon Gruden’s son” and it came up with this:

It depends in a way.
Say Lamb goes at 12, so we are sitting there with Ruggs and Chaisson on the board. Who do we pick. I bet there are far more divided on this as there was Lamb vs. Chaisson. Do we take one of those 3 trade offers.
So say we take Ruggs.

come the 2nd round and they take Diggs and leaves us with Arnette, if he fell to 51. I think some would be happy with Ruggs and Arnette, but just are happier with Lamb and Diggs, much happier. However I think the board would be more divided than it is with the Lamb / Diggs vs. Ruggs / Arnette.

I and extremely happy it worked out the way it did. And I am an OSU fan and would love to have got Arnette. I think we did better the way it is.

Pretty sure Dallas is thrilled to take Chaisson there. That was their hope all along until a crazy gift fell into their lap.

The only Tier 1 player left was Lamb
Tier 2 players probably included both Chaisson and Ruggs, which in that case you take the higher need.

reggie Robinson is every bit the prospect Arnette is. And we got our guy 100 picks later

If I’m not mistaken he has a commercial that’s been airing for the past year.....I think it was talking about his family lineage.

As early as the WR's went, I doubt there was a WR that we liked as much as the players we actually selected in rounds 3,4,5. It's questionable whether we would have found an immediate replacement for Cobb in the draft and may have needed to swing a trade for a veteran.

I live in Tulsa and honestly had never heard of Reggie Robinson until yesterday. Given, TU football is about as exciting as a 300 pound cow in the strip club.

I wasn't thrilled with getting a WR at 17, but what actually got picked in the 1st after us was a lotta meh value. Lamb lets us move on from Gallup or Cooper in a couple of years when Gallup is due to hit free agency.
