The agent for unsigned and suspended receiver Chris Henry confirmed that he's had conversations with the Bengals.

Henry could re-sign with Cincinnati and be eligible for Week 5. We've been privately rooting for a "reunion" of sorts with Henry, Tank Johnson, and Pacman Jones in Dallas, but that doesn't seem to be in the cards right now.

I seriously doubt JJ is thinking about looking at Henry at this juncture. He seems pleased with our WR's so far and will go with them at least for this season.

He also doesn't fit the profile of the kind JJ will take a risk on-----has drug and alcohol abuse as part of his past and we know JJ has learned from the Quincy Carter fiasco not to depend on these type of players.

With Hurd continuing to be a solid player work hard at his craft and with the lights coming on for Austin as they seem to be I just don't see any reason to bring in a guy like Henry. He's not spectacular (perhaps better than average but a long way to go to be great) so there is no reason to go out on a limb for this guy when our home grown players are coming along so well.

Henry is better than Hurd,Austin and Stanback and talent wise better than Crayton but Crayton probably has better hands and runs better routes. I would take a chance on him. He has size and speed and he truly stretches the field. Imagine him and T.O. outwide and Craton in the slot along with Witten. Unstoppable=Superbowl. Think about it.

Well Chris Henry is a deep threat with home-run speed, why not?, he could very well help contribute to this team....

I don't think Jerry would go out on a limb for Henry in any case. Quincy was a relatively recent reminder (2004) of problems we can have with guys who use drugs. Also believe Quincy served to remind Jerry about the whole Leon Lett situation back in the 90s. Lett had all the talent in the world but couldn't stop using & was suspended by the NFL several times.

I very much doubt that Jerry will ever again bring anyone on the team if he aware of the possibility drugs were used by a player.

Really? Unstoppable? He had TJ and Chad on his team in Cincy and that wasn't all that unstoppable.
